The choir performs regularly at events which range from short gigs for private functions to larger scale events including album launches and many appearances at International Festivals.

We are a mixed-voice, community choir based in the West End of Glasgow. We have performed at many of Glasgow's major venues and at a number of prestigious international events in the city. Our repertoire is extremely varied ranging from 11th century plainchant to songs by David Bowie and beyond.…

Feel free to join us at a rehearsal

The Sirens of Titan operate a no-audition, open-rehearsal policy. People are free to attend rehearsals as they wish although, be warned, we do charge an eye-watering £2 a rehearsal to all attending in order to cover room hire and various other contingencies.

Rehearsals

We rehearse most Sundays between four and six p.m. in Wellington Church on University Avenue. When the schedule becomes hectic, as it occasionally does, there can be occasional midweek rehearsals. If you wish to come along and visit and, hopefully, sing any Sunday you are welcome to join us. The…

Tenors and Basses

Hello all,

Me at the front of the choir at the Tron Theatre recently My name is Paddy Cunneen and I run the Sirens of Titan Choir in the west end of Glasgow.

I'm making an appeal here primarily for more male voices to join, as we're short of tenors and basses just at the moment. But in truth if anyone wants to come and sing they'd be welcome.

No music reading skills required. I'll take you through whatever music we're working on.

What's in a name?

kazak We are often asked about the choir's name. The conversation usually runs along the lines, "That's an unusual name for a choir." The obvious answer to this is, of course, "Well, it's an unusual choir," but people always seem to insist on a fuller explanation.
